Hey everyone back in Sask. This is BK reporting from Kelowna, BC, my new home away from home for the next few months. I flew out March 5th on my own, kinda nervous, but really excited to be racing with a new team this year- Total Restoration. I am currently living with 2 of my teammates but looking for a room to rent. Things have been really good so far. The weather is no Tucson (lucky buggers) but nice, around 8-15 degrees everyday. I have had one day with a small shower but not bad at all. Kelowna has a lot of great riding to offer right in the city and no shortage of climbing. Every Sunday is a group ride which gets anywhere from 15-40 riders, and is a hammerfest! In May, the ITT and crit series will start. It's kinda cool to be able to compete in a criterium each week with a lot of fast guys, so I am looking forward to that. I recently got a job at Fresh Air Experience building bikes and doing tune ups. They are super flexible with hours to work around my training, which works out perfect.
I Hope all is well back home and send me some mail if you have a minute to spare, I'd like to hear about what's going on in the prairies!!
Cheers, Brad Kerr
